Alcoa® Wheels are available with the patented Dura-Bright® EVO surface treatment, which penetrates the aluminium and becomes an integral part of the wheel. It will not chip, crack, peel or corrode like conventional coatings. Maintenance is extremely easy, thanks to the upscale protection of the specialised aluminium finish. The Dura-Bright® EVO wheels withstand cleaning chemicals with a pH value of pH2 to pH12 Regular cleaning with a mild detergent or undiluted Dura-Bright® Wheel Wash keeps wheels shiny even after hundreds of washes and thousands of kilometres, reducing maintenance costs.
Howmet Aerosapce's advanced LvL ONE® process technology results in a radiant finish. LvL ONE® has a smoother and glossier surface than the brushed finish, but requires the usual manual labour for maintenance If a shiny surface is desired, polishing is required. Nevertheless, this wheel looks great and it offers the same benefits as the other Alcoa® Wheels finishes.
The brushed finish of Alcoa® Wheels is easy to maintain. Brushed wheels are often used in large fleets where trailers are changed frequently. Brushed wheels do not rust and do not need to be repainted.
